I’m a mind Coach and Business Mentor, mum of 4 boys and a dog and married to Al.
I help women go from stressed, frazzled and anxious to thriving, happy and fulfilled.
Here’s a few things you might like to know about me:
- I ****LOVE**** supporting women whether one to one or through groups and programmes
- Wisewoman support is in my blood – my great Nonna was the local wisewomen in the village in Italy and as such helped many of the women there to give birth and look after their babies.
- I trained primarily as a doula and then latterly as as therapist and coach as my own mental health had collapsed after I had kids in 2010.
- I feel what makes me so good at my job is that I don’t judge anyone because I know how sh*t and hard it can feel but also I know how good it can get (mainly!)
- I became interested in EFT in 2014 and started tapping on myself about all sorts of issues… in 2015, I finally did my training and am now pleased to be integrating EFT into my work and in 2021 became an accredited advanced EFT practitioner through EFT International.
- In 2016 I decided to do further training to support parents who had experienced birth or perinatal trauma and am now delighted to be training and supervising others as part of Traumatic Birth Recovery
- In 2023 I became qualified in Belief Coding® as it’s blooming epic modality and it pulls together a lot of the tools I was already using
- I take CPD very seriously and continuously go on new courses or learn new approaches and techniques
- In my spare time you’ll find me walking or swimming on Scottish beaches.
- I believe most issues stem from what’s happened to you and that each and every day you are doing your best
- I want women to break down societal structures that make us feel being a martyr to motherhood or life is ok because it’s not and we deserve to feel fulfilled and happy.
- My work is my life purpose and I love helping you.
I’ve been working closely with women since 2009, voluntarily to begin with then privately from 2014.
In 2021, I was asked to join Postpartum Plan and I love this group of amazing practitioners.
In 2019, I was asked to facilitate training and supervision for the Perinatal College of Emotional Health.
In 2015, I co-founded Juno Perinatal Mental Health Support supporting mums with perinatal mental health.
I have been a member of the Maternity Services Liaison Committee for NHS Lothian, a Change Agent for Maternal Mental Health Scotland, a service user for the Managed Clinical Network for Perinatal Mental Health.
I was honoured in June and December 2016 to be invited to both the House of Lords and House of Commons as a Perinatal Mental Health Campaigner.
I love writing and you can read my blogs here.
We really don’t understand the importance of looking after ourselves physically, emotionally and mentally as mothers and women and accessing the right kind of support.
