Episode 20 - Harriet Beeson
Episode 20 - Harriet Beeson
Harriet is a sleep coach and the founder of the Wee Sleep Coach.
The Wee Sleep Coach is an infant sleep coach which means she work 1:1 with parents to understand what is going on with their baby or toddler's sleep. This can be anything from waking 10 times a night, parents ready to have their own bed back but not sure how to break the habit. Working with the parents I'll create a personalised plan then where I really shine is working with the parents for 3 weeks to coach them through the changes they are making so they are left empowered knowing that they know what to do for their child.
In this episode Harriet shares how she moved from working in the corporate sector to working as a sleep coach following the birth of her son and understanding the impact of sleep and work. We discuss how she’s moving from setting up a hobby to a fully fledged business and the learnings associated such as finding her own voice and being authentic and the challenges that present themselves with social media, growing your business off social media and remembering the power of google and traditional marketing and how people use the internet and buy services. We talk about email marketing and how to build your email list and a strategy behind that and looking at collaboration opportunities.
